Lindsey Lockhart Flynn hails from Big Spring, Texas, a town known for the historic Settles Hotel and The Stampede dance hall, and was raised in Midland, a quintessential West Texas oil town. A 2001 graduate of Lee High School, she went on to attend Louisiana State University, Texas Tech, and the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she earned a degree in communication. After living in Dallas for 15 years, Lindsey now resides in Fort Worth, continuing her public relations career with a focus on cybersecurity. Her West Texas roots and global experiences fuel her deep pride in being from a place where hard work and genuine care define the people. Lindsey is eager to share stories of her small-town heritage and the big-city experiences that have shaped her.

Melissa McGavock, co-host of Never Have Y’all Ever, brings a wealth of experience as a creative professional and leader in the advertising industry. With dual degrees in Art History and Mass Communication from Texas State University, Melissa’s well-rounded expertise provides a unique perspective that fuels the podcast’s exploration of Texas culture. Her years as a Creative Director and Editor-in-Chief have sharpened her ability to blend creativity with strategy, which she now channels into uncovering and celebrating the stories of the Lone Star State.
